Process
Brainstorming
I always start my projects by sketching out some ideas, based on my clients instructions.
Outlining & Painting
Once my design is approved, I sketch it out on the window using an Expo marker. Then I go over my sketch with a black paint pen. After completing the outline, I start painting in the color.

Takeaways
Painting holiday window murals has taught me how to design with a real audience and environment in mind. Working at a large scale pushed me to simplify shapes, plan compositions carefully, and think about visibility from a distance. The project also strengthened my time management and problem-solving skills, especially when adapting designs on the spot. Overall, it showed me how art can create atmosphere, connect with the community, and bring visual storytelling into everyday spaces.
